Doug's Big One!
Doug has a fishing club with a few friends. They have teams and once a week go out and see who can catch the most fish. Well last night, Doug caught the biggest! He caught a 21 and 3/4 " bass. He was so excited. The kids and I named him Felix and instead of mounting him, we let him go in the pond at the golf course. We are going to remember the size and joy of Felix through pictures instead of a wall mount. A wall mount costs $200. or more so if you know Doug, that's all that needs to be said about that! He has become a great fisherman and loves his new hobby. Plus I do not know how to write measurements so sorry! Doug is kickin' bass and taken names...get in line Clay, Jord, Dad, Aaron, and Uncle Ed.

Memories
Blase, Doug and Isaiah started fishing. Blase and Doug really love it too. Blase just got a new pole since his scooby doo one wasn't catching him too many fish! He likes to practice casting in the yard.
Harrison loves the camera and to run! He runs from one side of the yard to the other..full speed ahead. He is a ball of energy.
Rainy days! Last week was full of cold, rainy days so Aunt Lish put the tent up for the boys in the basement. It was fun for them to read, watch t.v. and just play in the tent. We are enjoying summer and making fun memories!

BANZAI!
The kids got a surprise for summer...called a Banzai. They did not know anything about it and were thrilled! We got a great deal on it and it is easy to set up and take down,,,,,good for Doug and his yard! We have decided to use it only on super hot days and special occasions! It is still up because today it is supposed to be 88 degrees. Harrison likes it best I think, because his lips turn blue and he still rides it. All 3 boys enjoy it. We are all doing well. I am working 2 days a week at the gym...which I love and Doug is busy at the golf course. Love to you all and have a great day!

Last Day of Kindergarten!
Today is the last of Kindergarten for Blase! Where have the last 6 years gone? I am forever saying that. I am so happy he will be home now and we have many plans for summer vacation. I am looking froward to spending time with my boys. I got his last report card yesterday and his teacher informed me he likes academic work best..hard to believe? NO! Doug and I are just not sure where he inherited that. I am so proud of him and thankful for him. His joy for life is contagious. He really liked school and has made many friends. Two of his best friends go to the same church as us. We are celebrating today, and Blase wants to go to Big Boy and have a bonfire. Doug loves doing this with him. We sit outside and have s'mores...I just wish it was warmer. Thank you God for blessing us with two healthy boys and for a good school year. Please keep Halle in your prayers if you are reading this, she is having her tonsils and adenoids out tomorrow. Also for the doctors, as well as Eir and Jason. So thankful mom is able to go and help with Cohen...thank you Jon. Love you all, enjoy your children and happy summer vacation to you!

Happy Birthday Harrison!
Once again I have probably blogged too many pictures, but I don't care. We had a great day with Harrison. I can't believe he is 2! He is tender hearted boy who loves SPORTS! He loves basketball, baseball and football. He only wanted a bike for his birthday, he sits on them frequently at Wallmart. Although his little stubby legs are too short to pedal he loves to sit on them anyway. Well Doug and I found him the perfect 10 inch bike on clearance at Target. It is babyish, but he is my baby boy. Today when he woke up to decorations he kept saying...WOW! Doug said happy birthday to him and Harrison replied,"BIKE?" He finally got his bike and a basketball hoop. The darn bike is still too big, so Doug will add some pedal extensions. Poor little guy is gonna be as tall as me 5"1 I feel so bad for him! God has blessed me with two beautiful, completely opposite boys. Happy Birthday Harrison you are so sweet and precious to all who know you. We love you!

Happy Birthday Jason!
Happpy Birhday Jason!
I am so thankful for you! You are a blessing to us. Thank you for being a good friend, brother in law, uncle, husband to Eir, and dad! I have watched you change and grow in the blink of an eye! I always knew one day it would just click and you would be on fire! Watching you read, going to church faithfully and driving here to go to church with us is so provoking. It is so awesome to look down the row at church, and see you and Eir! I love all our chats and how you want to read all that you can get your hands on. I am so encouraged by your childlike faith! It is just like a dream that we were talking about Preaching the Gospel to yourself everyday and what that means! We were having biblical fellowship...how awesome is that?! I am inspired, and so thankful for God's goodness, and favor on us! I love you dear brother. Thank you for putting God first, taking care of your wife, and children and being a Spiritual leader! Have a great day......We Love You!

Happy Birthday!
We had a birthday party last weekend for Blase and Harry. It was just family a a couple of friends. We had a great time. I was on crutches because on Friday night the base of an umbrella (for my umbrella table) fell on the top of my foot. I have a fracture and have been limping for a week. I still cannot get tennis shoes on. My point is that Doug, mom, Lisha, Eir and Jason did all the work! Thank you! So we all went to church and then scrambled to put up just a few decorations. Our boys are so blessed, and we were so thankful for everyone that came. A highlight for Blase and Harrison was Mitch and David coming! Thanks Grandpa Tractor! The sun was shining and it was a warm! Today is 45 degrees! Anyway so Blase turned 6 yesterday and he is such a great boy. He has a tender heart and gentle spirit. I am so thankful for Blase. The Lord has blessed me with two healthy boys. Thanks Dad and Grandma Tacia for the cards! We love you all.
